What it Claims (from Carol's Daughter website):
See why HAIR MILK has been touted by The Oprah Magazine, Tyra Banks, BET and it has grown from a cult favorite to a recent PHENOMENON! This light, fast-absorbing lotion for the hair is made with essential oil of lemongrass to stimulate natural oil production. Vitamins C and E provide an antioxidant boost while a hint of lily of the valley fragrance perfumes hair beautifully. Hair Milk is ideal for defining natural curls and giving hair loads of shine and bounce.

Benefits:

  • Lemongrass stimulates scalp circulation and adds luster to dull hair.
  • Sweet almond oil, a natural nut oil that is high in fatty acids and easily absorbed by the scalp.

Where to Buy:

Carol's Daughter
, Sephora, Amazon, Naturally Curly, also check your local natural hair retailers.

MHIM Assessment:
Carol's Daughter Hair Milk was one of the first products that I purchased for my hair, and I have loved it from day one. As a matter of fact, goign to buy Hair Milk was the main reason that I found out the greatness that is Sephora. I love Sephora, but that's another post! LOL. Hair Milk is for natural (and relaxed hair) what Pink Oil Moisturizer probably could have been had it been made with the right products.  Hair Milk is lightweight so you can use it daily, and it does not build up like some products can. One word of caution, unlike the Healthy Hair Butter, the Hair Milk smell lingers all day, so if you are sensitive to smells this one may not be for you.  But guess what you can do? Go to Sephora and have them to fix you up a sample so you can see how you like the smell. This is one reason why I love Sephora! Hair Milk adds a nice amount of sheen to your hair...just enough to liven it up without weighing it down. I recommend Carol's Daughter Hair Milk for you regardless of whether it's relaxed or natural!

**Carol's Daughter is preparing to debut it's new Hair Milk: The Curl Collection with Shampoo, Conditioner, The Original Curl Definer, and Lite The Curl Booster. You can pre-purchase the collection on the Carol's Daughter website. I WANT IT!
